01Day 1: Arrival to Cusco - Sacred Valley+

Welcome to Cusco – Interact with South American Camelids

Let´s start a great experience in the magical Andes, once you meet your private tour guide at the airport of Cusco city, get a warmly welcome and to acclimatized yourself go to the gorgeous Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Camelid Encounter & Pisaq Visit

On the way, out stop at Awanacancha where you will have the opportunity to learn more about south American camels such as llamas, alpacas, guanacos and the finest vicuñas. Visit, Pisaq, an archeological site where you will have an introduction about Inca culture and the complexity of their living system. Pisaq is one the most interesting and beautiful remains that is well preserved nowadays. Once you finish your visit, return to the town of Pisaq, walk through its narrow streets and see its artisanal market.

02Day 2: Sacred Valley+

Visit Maras and Moray by Bike

Continue the adventure, let´s spend time outdoors on a bike along paths sculpted over centuries and trails winding through the mountains. The real Andes reveals itself most intimately when is done by bike.

Biking Adventure & Salt Pans

Start the ride in the countryside on way to Moray archeological site where you will take the beauty of nature and archaeology, this place served as a farming laboratory having variations of temperature in each terrace, it helped to provide different growing environments in a small area.

After lunch, we will pass through the town of Maras well known by its colonial blue color doorways then we will get to the salt pans located in the hillside connected by an irrigation system that feed the pans with salty water. Following your tour, you will be returned to the hotel.

03Day 3: Sacred Valley+

Discover the Sacred Valley on Horseback Visit the Living City of the Incas, Ollantaytambo

Today, after breakfast you will have a fun horseback ride. We will follow a trail parallel to the Urubamba River, we will have beautiful views where rural landscapes, imposing mountains and countryside mix in all its splendor.

Horseback Riding & Ollantaytambo Exploration

Enjoy a delicious lunch in the outdoors. After, visit Ollantaytambo, ascend with your guide to an old fortress Inca remain. extremely well-built walls that have never been completed, this site offers great views of the valley and the Urubamba river that meanders through it, you will have elaborate information about the history and theories behind the Inca civilization. There will be some free time to stroll around the area before being transferred to the hotel.

04Day 4: Sacred Valley - Machupicchu+

Discover the Enigmatic Beauty of Machupicchu

Begin this great experience aboard the train of your choice in direction to Machupicchu town, please have a look outside through the windows to the astonishing scenarios, after some time, you will be immerse into a canyon surrounded by the cloud forest and stunning granite mountains.

Machupicchu Citadel Exploration

Before going to the ancient citadel, get lunch in the town. Afterwards, explore with your knowledgeable guide the Lost City of the Incas as you walk through temples, fountains, terraces and get connected by the spiritual energy of the place. At the end of the exploration make your way back to the hotel.

05Day 5: Machupicchu – Cusco+

Climb One of the Most Important Mountains of Machupicchu

Today, we will head back to the Citadel to have a better interpretation, walk through the mysterious alleys and stone-building. You will feel as though you’ve been transported into a work of art as you marvel the iconic Inca civilization.

Mountain Hike & Return to Cusco

You will also have the chance to hike to the top Huayna Picchu or Machupicchu mountain, it takes around 3 hours walking back and forth, please note that tickets to hike up will need to be purchased in advance. After visiting the citadel catch the afternoon train back to the sacred valley, where you will be dropped off at the hotel in Cusco.

06Day 6: Cusco+

Enjoy Different Fun Activities With your Family Around the Piuray Lagoon

Today cross the open fields heading to the beautiful and solitary lagoon of Piuray. Explore the area doing stand-up paddle or kayak, experience is not required due its tranquil aquamarine waters. You will be surrounded by few Andean communities; they still preserve their traditions.

Water Sports & Archery

Return to the shore and have a tasty lunch based in local products. Relax with your children while practicing archery, aim your shot carefully and hit the bullseye to earn a handicraft. This activity is suitable for beginners and experienced archers.

After having spent time in this picturesque place you will be transferred to the cosmopolitan city of Cusco.

07Day 7: Cusco+

Explore the Cusco Streets and its Surroundings. Make Your Own Handmade Chocolate

Let’s explore the magical city and UNESCO World Heritage site, a place where Andean, colonial Spanish culture and modern Peru fuse into one, you will be part of the mixture of cultures walking through Cusco’s ornamental and carved balconies, cobblestone streets and well preserve Incan walls.

City Tour & Chocolate Workshop

We are going to begin visiting the main Basilica Cathedral, one of the most emblematic buildings in South America, this construction is considered a Cultural Heritage of the Nation and has a combination of singular details, you will be impressed by its exquisite art work.

After that wander among the archaeological site of Sacsayhuaman where the Incas built with massive stones weighing as much as 127 tons. Return to the city to get lunch and later indulge yourself through a chocolate workshop, make your own truffles to bring home with you. What better way to spend an afternoon? This experience is the perfect opportunity to relax and express your creative side.

08Day 8: Cusco - International Flight+

Flight Cusco – Lima. Flight Home Via Lima

It’s time to say «Tupananchiskama! According to the Andean culture there is no such word as «Farewell», instead we use this quechua expression, which means «until we meet again».

At the coordinated time, you will be transferred to the Cusco airport to board your departure flight.
